At a young age, Jan’s father fostered her interest in the financial industry through mornings spend reading the newspaper together and discussions of how stocks allow the average person to own pieces of great businesses. Jan went on to achieve a degree in mechanical engineering from the University of New Mexico and has coupled a mathematics-based approach to her love of the investment industry. With over 34 years of professional experience in the financial service industry, she is dedicated to fulfilling ethical fiduciary duties for her clients through diversified, active investment strategies.

After beginning her professional career in the engineering field, Jan had an opportunity to join Dean Witter in 1985. Always the forward thinker, Jan and her business partner were among the first to utilize professional money mangers and then went on to seize the opportunity to restructure existing profit sharing plans into 401K plans. Jan has been with various companies throughout her financial career, but has been an independent advisor, and business owner, since 2009. Jan had the opportunity to bring her practice to Private Advisors Group in the Spring 2019 to further implement her “client first” mentality.
